Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mne throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maynard was covering up waiting for the punch and Mne finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maynard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maynard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mne has managed to get both his arms back between Maynard's legs - danger averted.
Mne with a flurry of punches that miss.
Mne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maynard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maynard has his foot on Mne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mne works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Maynard is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mne defends well.

Mne trying to control the position from guard on top but Maynard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Maynard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mne must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mne trying to control but Maynard is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mne closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mne lands in his opponent's guard.
Maynard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Maynard working for submissions but it's allowed Mne to get to half guard.
Mne content to control rather than advance.
Mne wants to stand up but Maynard has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Maynard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mne pulls his head out easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Still in half guard, Mne seems content to control.

Mne postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Maynard to stand up.
Mne shoots in and bounces Maynard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Slave Mne dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mne dives in and scores a takedown into Maynard's guard.
Oh Maynard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mne in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Maynard is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mne is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Mne is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Maynard throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Maynard throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mne escapes and throws Maynard's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Mne has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Maynard tries to buck Mne off but Mne is having none of it.
Mne moves into full mount!
Mne stands up from mount. Strange move.
Mne closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Maynard! Mne dives in looking to finish! Maynard is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
