Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buakaw Banchamek (ranked 2944 p4p, 310 weight class) and Adam Bruno (ranked 21512 p4p, 535 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Adam Bruno was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruno shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Banchamek defends it nicely.
Banchamek cracks the inside of Bruno's front leg.
A left and a right from Banchamek both land. Nice combination.
A head kick misses from Banchamek.
Bruno tries to close the distance and clinch but Banchamek swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice shot lands for Banchamek.
Bruno takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bruno fails to land with a series of punches.
We've been told by Banchamek's head coaches at The Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
No luck for Bruno with that takedown attempt.
Bruno chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Banchamek can pounce on him.
Bruno misses with a takedown
and Banchamek counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Buakaw Banchamek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Bruno.

Banchamek pulls Bruno in close to his closed guard and prevents Bruno from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Banchamek thuds his right hand into Bruno's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Bruno walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bruno limp body while Banchamek jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Lee stuffs the takedown.
Lee appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Lee takes a swing at Tycoon's ribcage but misses.
Tycoon goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lee continues to drive forward.
Tycoon dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Tycoon has his takedown stuffed
and Lee counters with a left to the body.
Beck Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ky Tycoon.

Manson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Deggamendov, pushing him back against the cage.
Manson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Deggamendov lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Manson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Deggamendov keeping moving, preventing Manson from controlling successfully.
Manson is looking to work some ground and pound but Deggamendov has wrist control.
Manson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Manson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Deggamendov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Manson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Manson throws a big right hand that misses.
Manson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Manson lands a couple of elbows.
Deggamendov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Manson on the ground.
Manson wants to control from the top but Deggamendov keeps moving.
Manson stands and throws Deggamendov's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Manson has hold of Deggamendov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Deggamendov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Manson cranks the arm and Deggamendov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Deggamendov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Marilin Manson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Matsu shoots in and drives through. Gerber sprawls well.
Tazawa Matsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gerber counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Matsu thinking.
Matsu tries to clinch there but Gerber circles away.
Gerber now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Matsu fails to land the takedown.
Gerber has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Matsu is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tazawa Matsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gerber throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Matsu.

It looks like Tazawa Matsu has been cut.
Matsu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gerber but Gerber pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Matsu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gerber connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gerber dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Matsu. That did some damage!

Gerber lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Gerber cracks a nice hook into Matsu's ribs.
Matsu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gerber as he avoids it easily.
Gerber connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Matsu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gerber - the referee stops the clock and Matsu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gerber. Matsu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gerber lands with a right that hurts Matsu. Matsu looks to clinch but Gerber throws a short knee that drops Matsu. This one is all over!

Magrin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tonni smiles and moves away.
Tonni fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tonni cracks Magrin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tonni fails to land with a series of punches.
Tonni pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Magrin back to the cage. Tonni follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Magrin moves into range and clinches up with Tonni.

Tonni lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Tonni has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Magrin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tonni is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Magrin pulls down on the head and he's put Tonni to sleep! This one is all over!

Biggs lands a nice hook to Lester's body. Lester takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lester seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lester accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Biggs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lester manages to avoid it.
Biggs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Biggs takes one to the chin there.
Biggs throws a series of punches but Lester moves out of range.

Lester throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Biggs on the side of the head.

Biggs misses with the combination.
Biggs is still on wobbly legs! Can Lester finish him?
Lester misses the jab.
Biggs lands a jab to Lester's midsection.
Lester drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Biggs right on the button. Biggs goes down! Lester follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lester gets the win via TKO!

After the fight, Moe Lester was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Africa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Crazy Horse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horse uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Africa has time to react.
Africa throws a hook to the side of Horse's head but Horse sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Horse has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Clark's Champion's in the buildup to the fight.

Africa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Horse is working away from the top position though.
Horse tries to pass the half guard into mount. Africa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Horse is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Africa has managed to free his arm - good work.
Horse content to control rather than advance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
