PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fook Man (ranked 1449 p4p, 184 weight class) and Vladimir Tarlac (ranked 1417 p4p, 181 weight class). Tarlac has chosen Nobody Knows- The Tony RIch Project as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tarlac takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Man uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Man has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Oh Man is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheers as Tarlac lands an impressive looking overhand right. Man doesn't seem phased though.

and Man makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tarlac crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Man - the referee stops the clock and Tarlac gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Man. Tarlac manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Vladimir Tarlac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
