The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O'Neil ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dannis.
Dannis shoots in but no luck this time.
O'Neil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Dannis misses the target.
O'Neil throws a lazy right hand but Dannis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dannis ducks right into an uppercut from O'Neil.
Dannis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by O'Neil.
Dannis drives through with a takedown into O'Neil's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
O'Neil pulls Dannis in close to prevent any damage.
Dannis tries to free his leg and advance position but O'Neil is retaining full guard.
O'Neil has control of Dannis's left arm, preventing Dannis from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O'Neil keeping moving, preventing Dannis from controlling successfully.
Dannis stopping the sweep attempt from O'Neil.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dannis tries to free his leg and advance position but O'Neil is retaining full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A left and a right from O'Neil both land. Nice combination.
O'Neil lands with a good body shot.
O'Neil connects with a nice looking jab.
O'Neil wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
O'Neil scores with a hook to the body. Dannis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice shot lands for O'Neil.
Dannis is rocked!
BOOM! O'Neil lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dannis. Dannis tries to recover but O'Neil is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dannis lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
