Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Phenomenal. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Vladimir Tomcic enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomcic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tomcic throws a head kick that misses.
Brooks shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tomcic eats them both and turns towards Brooks to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Brooks has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Crapollas Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Brooks steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tomcic. That one must have hurt.

Brooks takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Tomcic has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brooks finds it's way round the side to connect with Tomcic's head.

It looked like Brooks was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Brooks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tomcic manages to avoid it.

It looked like Brooks was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tomcic.
