The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb dips to his left and cracks Boskins with an uppercut!
Cobb has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Boskins let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Boskins throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

enabling Boskins to counter with a crisp jab.

Boskins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Boskins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cobb manages to avoid it.

Cobb with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boskins steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cobb.
Boskins tries to bum rush Cobb with a series of wild strikes but Cobb uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cobb changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Boskins tries a head kick but it misses.

Boskins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cobb moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cobb swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
That kick from Cobb tenderised Boskins's leg. Boskins is trying to keep his angry face on.
Boskins misses with a hook to the body
and Cobb connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boskins lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Boskins throws a wild body kick that Cobb sees coming a mile off.
Cobb slips a jab from Boskins.
Boskins misses with a looping right.
Cobb throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boskins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Cobb. Boskins shrugs it off though.
Boskins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cobb can pounce on him.
Boskins buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cobb connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boskins momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Cobb - that will leave a mark!
Boskins looks winded!
Cobb looks to throw the jab but Boskins is out of range.

Cobb swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Cobb lands a big head kick that sends Boskins tumbling to the mat! Cobb takes a step backwards and waves Boskins back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Dwayne Boskins has been cut.
Cobb misses with a looping left.
Nice body punch from Cobb.
Boskins throws a series of punches but Cobb avoids them all with ease.
Boskins looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice shot lands for Cobb.
Boskins takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Boskins is rocked!
Cobb comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cobb feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boskins's calf.
Cobb throws a half hearted mid kick.
Boskins thuds his right hand into Cobb's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Boskins takes one on the button.

Boskins swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Cobb closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cobb lands a right hand that snaps the head of Boskins backwards.

Boskins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cobb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cobb drops Boskins with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boskins looks back up at him and smiles so Cobb waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Boskins is still on wobbly legs! Can Cobb finish him?

and Cobb counters with a nice body kick.

Cobb gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Boskins seems to have recovered his senses.
Cobb lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Cobb works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Cobb lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Cobb.

Cobb lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cobb lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Boskins to his knees! Cobb keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
