Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Archer (ranked 1331 p4p, 181 weight class) and Markus Kray (ranked 1157 p4p, 153 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Archer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Markus Kray!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer swings for the body but Kray moves out of range.
A combination from Kray does no damage.
Archer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Markus Kray has been cut.
Kray slips under a jab.
Kray misses with a hook. Archer ducked under it nicely.
Archer lands a glancing blow to the side of Kray's head.
Archer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kray loads up on a big right hand but Archer slips the punch.
Kray tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Archer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kray misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kray tries to clinch up.
Archer just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Archer pounces like a tiger and cracks Kray with a vicious hook! Kray is down but not out! Archer follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jonathan Archer!
A relieved looking Jonathan Archer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
