Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justin Magnum (ranked 2080 p4p, 112 weight class) and Marcel Petiot (ranked 3204 p4p, 164 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnum tries a low kick but Petiot avoids it.
Petiot forces Magnum back against the cage and clinches.
Magnum is pressed up against the cage. Petiot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Magnum down to the mat. Magnum avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Petiot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Magnum circles away.
Petiot is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Magnum.

Magnum is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Petiot catches Magnum with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Magnum counters with a right hand to the body.
Magnum throws a right hand that Petiot ducks under and follows up with a left that Petiot also avoids with ease.
Horrible takedown attempt by Petiot or perhaps it was just good defense by Magnum, which made it look bad.
Petiot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magnum's waist but Magnum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Petiot off to one side.
No joy there for Magnum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
