Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spike Grapple (ranked 3328 p4p, 315 weight class) and Tu Barrels (ranked 2182 p4p, 222 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrels lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Barrels misses with an uppercut. Grapple saw that one coming.
Grapple bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Barrels's head backwards.
Barrels takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Grapple wants to clinch up but Barrels keeps it at a distance.
Grapple moves out of range of the strikes.
Grapple is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Barrels.
Grapple lands a jab to the head.
Grapple clinches up with Barrels and pushes him back against the cage.
Grapple's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barrels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barrels swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Grapple ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Grapple throws a combination that misses
and Barrels counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Barrels throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spike Grapple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barrels connects with a nice looking jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Grapple misses with a lunging right hand
and Barrels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Grapple is looking to clinch but Barrels is avoiding it.
A countering left hand to the body from Barrels misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Barrels. Grapple does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Grapple was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grapple looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barrels lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Spike Grapple has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Grapple has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Barrels throws a poor cross that misses
and Grapple counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Barrels throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Grapple ducks under a wild hook from Barrels.
Grapple tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Barrels counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barrels drops Grapple with a huge uppercut! Grapple drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Barrels is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
