Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolay Panayotov (ranked 1495 p4p, 203 weight class) and Dada Segbo (ranked 586 p4p, 79 weight class). Panayotov comes to the cage accompanied by Mad World - Gary Jules / Tears For Fears (Cover by Jasmine Thompson). Segbo has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segbo misses with a kick to the body.
A counter left hand to the body from Panayotov misses its target.
Segbo throws a combination that misses
and Panayotov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Panayotov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Segbo lands the left hand.
Panayotov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

A jab from Segbo finds it's way through Panayotov's defenses.

It looks like Nikolay Panayotov has been cut.
Segbo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A head kick misses from Panayotov.
Segbo looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Segbo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Panayotov drops Segbo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Segbo looks back up at him and smiles so Panayotov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Segbo is rocked!

Segbo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Panayotov's calf.
Oh Panayotov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Are you kidding me?! Segbo ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Panayotov clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
