Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Starling Silva (ranked 885 p4p, 122 weight class) and Rick Ambe (ranked 1214 p4p, 157 weight class). Ambe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. MASTER P - REPO kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rick Ambe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Starling Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rick Ambe!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambe misses with a looping left.
Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ambe's sensitive parts.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ambe.
Ambe looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.
Ambe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Silva cracks Ambe with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Silva scores with a hook.
Ambe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ambe throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Nice uppercut lands for Silva. That snapped Ambe's head back.

Ambe is rocked!
Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ambe has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ambe is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Ambe walks straight into a right hand from Silva - that's dropped him! Silva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ambe from any more punishment! Ambe complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Starling Silva!
