Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Shinji Takada (ranked 4818 p4p, 427 weight class) and Jin Kazama (ranked 22704 p4p, 494 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takada drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kazama throws a combination. Takada tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Takada pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Takada uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kazama.
Takada chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kazama can pounce on him.
Takada misses with a kick to the body.
Takada throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Takada throws a series of strikes that have Kazama backpedaling.
Kazama thumps Takada with a low kick.
Takada is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kazama.
Takada throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kazama counters with a nice low kick that buckles Takada's knee momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kazama throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Kazama thumps Takada with a low kick.
A good leg kick by Kazama.
Kazama throws out a powerful jab.
Kazama lands a jab to the nose.
Takada takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Takada bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kazama's head backwards.

Takada misses with an uppercut.
Takada does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kazama lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kazama scores with a jab. Takada acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That kick from Kazama tenderised Takada's leg. Takada is trying to keep his angry face on.
Takada swings widly with a right hand
and Kazama counters with a one-two to the body.

It looks like Shinji Takada has been cut.
Kazama ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kazama looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kazama lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Crunch! Kazama slams his shin into Takada's torso.
Takada is breathing heavily.
Kazama thumps Takada with a low kick.
Kazama throws a leg kick which misses Takada's front leg but catches the back leg as Takada tries to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takada takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Kazama lands with a slapping head kick.
Kazama throws a nice outside leg kick.

Kazama dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Takada. That did some damage!

Takada takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Takada on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kazama. Kazama obviously looking to wear him down.
Takada tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kazama uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Takada will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Jin Kazama seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Takada walks into a jab.
Oh Takada is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Takada is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Kazama scores with a big combo that sends Takada crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Takada flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Kazama jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
