The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris throws a hook but Clark avoids it easily.
Morris misses with a takedown attempt - Clark sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Morris changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clark looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Clark is looking to get back to his feet here but Morris is keeping cool and he's managed to take Clark's back.
Clark knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morris on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Clark is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Five Round Fight Club NY (50 max) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Clark is trying to get back to his feet but Morris has full control of the position and if anything, Clark has just worked his way into a worse spot.
