The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace ducks right into an uppercut from Wiremu.
Wiremu motions for Wallace to come forward. Wiremu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Wiremu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Wallace fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wiremu manages to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wiremu pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

No joy there for Wiremu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

As Wallace looks to move away, Wiremu throws a big counter combo but Wallace just gets out of the way.

It seemed like Wallace was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Wallace counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wallace ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Oooooh!!! Wallace has knocked Wiremu down with a huge combo! Wallace steps away and waves a wobbly Wiremu back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wallace shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Wiremu takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Wallace sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Wiremu bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
