The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch up but Pulkkinen keeps it at a distance.
Silva throws an off balance right hand
and Pulkkinen counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pulkkinen.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Pulkkinen was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Pulkkinen lands a big uppercut and Silva crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Silva looks OK. Pulkkinen waves Silva back to his feet!
Silva is rocked!
It looks like Rodrigo Silva has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva darts in trying to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Pulkkinen finish him?
Silva looks winded!
Pulkkinen lands with a good body shot.
Pulkkinen ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Silva's jaw. Silva's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Pulkkinen does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Albert Pulkkinen!
