Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Urho Viikate!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tkach lands an overhand right.
A jab lands there for Tkach.
Tkach dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Viikate closes the distance but Tkach moves to the side
and Tkach cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tkach steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Viikate.
Viikate takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Viikate closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Viikate lands in his opponent's guard.
Tkach wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Viikate manages to pass to side control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tkach tries to get to full guard but Viikate has control of the leg.
Tkach is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tkach wants to control but Viikate is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tkach has hold of Viikate's hands but Viikate slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Viikate is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tkach is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Viikate jumps into side control!
Tkach definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tkach seems a little lost for a moment, as Viikate dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tkach is trying to control Viikate's posture but Viikate avoids it.
Tkach tries to bench press Viikate off him but Viikate keeps the position.

Tkach wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Viikate seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Tkach is tapping! Wow, great finish!
