PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atticus Finch (ranked 2237 p4p, 247 weight class) and Juan Luna (ranked 2930 p4p, 311 weight class). Finch comes to the cage accompanied by Ghetto Bird- Ice Cube. The crowd seem to be enjoying Luna's choice of entrance music: Noypi by Bamboo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finch jabs Luna to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Luna clinches with his opponent.
Finch misses with a hook to the ribs.
Finch holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Finch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luna doesn't manage to clinch there - Finch circles away.
A left and a right from Finch both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Juan Luna has been cut.
Finch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Luna clobbers Finch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Luna misses with a hook
and Finch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Luna lands with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Luna swings for the body but Finch moves out of range.
Luna uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Luna scores with a decent looking hook.
Finch cracks Luna with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Luna falls to his knees and Finch doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Atticus Finch!

Juan Luna was interviewed post fight and said 'A man can be destroyed but not defeated... I will pickup the pieces that I learned today and will grow from it.'.
