Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocket Bob Frankels (ranked 39 p4p, 5 weight class) and Iain Tower (ranked 21 p4p, 2 weight class). Frankels comes to the cage accompanied by Dawn....Summer Solstice... . Tower has chosen Kanye - Power as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Iain Tower has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rocket Bob Frankels's chin.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frankels throws out a leg kick but Tower moves out of range and Frankels only half commits.
Frankels looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tower connects with a right hand. Frankels shakes it off.
Tower tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frankels was well out of range. Poor timing from Tower.
Frankels looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Nice uppercut lands for Tower. That snapped Frankels's head back.
Frankels throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tower misses with a low kick as Frankels jumps back.
Tower throws a front kick aimed at Frankels's knee but Frankels avoids it well.
Nice cross by Tower.
Tower throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tower has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Iain Tower seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Frankels misses
and Tower counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Rocket Bob Frankels has been cut.
Frankels steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tower. That one must have hurt.
Tower throws a body shot but no joy.
Tower thuds his shin into the meat of Frankels's side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frankels lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tower takes a step back to recover.
Tower blocks the body kick.
Frankels connects with a body shot that sends Tower's belly button to the back.
Tower lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice straight punches there by Frankels. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Frankels.
Frankels connects with a leg kick. Tower looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Frankels lands with a hook. Tower tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Frankels fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tower on the side of the head.
It looks like Iain Tower has been cut.
Frankels lands a nice shot that snaps Tower's head back.
Frankels fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tower has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tower uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Frankels.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tower clinches with his opponent.
Frankels lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tower throws a punch but it's blocked by Frankels.
A nice right hand lands inside from Tower.
Tower prevents a body shot from Frankels.
Frankels prevents a body shot from Tower.
Frankels presses Tower against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Tower jumps into guard, dragging Frankels to the mat.
Frankels content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Tower has locked up a guillotine! Tower's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Frankels is holding on here and Tower must be using up a lot of energy. Frankels has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Tower gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Iain Tower!
Iain Tower is the new heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Iain Tower thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
