Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jerome (ranked 2830 p4p, 317 weight class) and Raate Road (ranked 3636 p4p, 378 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Road's choice of entrance music: For Heavy Metal we will die!. Raate Road has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raate Road!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Road circles away from the clinch attempt
and Road makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jerome looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Road let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Road jabs Jerome right on the nose. Jerome blinks but takes it well.
Road lands a nice shot that snaps Jerome's head back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jerome connects with a body shot that sends Road's belly button to the back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jerome changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Road tries to avoid it but Jerome manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Road to the ground. Road escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Jerome. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Road lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Road has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Jerome gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Road gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raate Road!
A less than humble Raate Road misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
