The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horie scores with a shot to the body.

Lyons feints and as Horie raises his hands in defense, Lyons changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lyons makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lyons working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Horie's head.
Lyons keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Horie's head.
Lyons is in close to Horie's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Horie is rocked!
Lyons makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Horie is still in real trouble! Can Lyons finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lyons postures up and lands a big shot to Horie's brow.
Lyons postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Horie covers up, he's hurt! Lyons keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Lyons and the ref steps in to end the fight! Lyons can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

After the fight, Lee Lyons was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
