PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shi Fu Tu (ranked 877 p4p, 113 weight class) and Bastyn Dall (ranked 3224 p4p, 317 weight class). Fu Tu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Klendathu drop. Dall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bride - Beast. Bastyn Dall is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu Tu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dall blocks a leg kick.
Fu Tu misses with an uppercut.
Dall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fu Tu scores with a shot to the body.
Fu Tu lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fu Tu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dall lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fu Tu backs up against the cage.
Fu Tu thows a leg kick but Dall checks it
enabling Dall to counter with a crisp jab.

Dall misses with a shot to the body
and Fu Tu counters with a left and a right that stings Dall.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fu Tu missing with a left hand there. Dall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And Dall tries to counter it with a takedown but Fu Tu pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dall tried to score with a low kick but Fu Tu checks it.
Fu Tu was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Fu Tu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dall.
No joy there for Fu Tu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dall shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dall scores with a jab to the jaw.
Dall connects with a looping right hand.
Fu Tu seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Fu Tu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Dall throws the left hand but Fu Tu avoids the punch easily.
Fu Tu lands with a nice body punch.
An inside leg kick from Fu Tu misses.
Nice straight punches there by Fu Tu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fu Tu.
Fu Tu looks to score with a jab to the body but Dall is just out of range.
Fu Tu moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dall scores with a head kick. Fu Tu tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fu Tu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dall. That did some damage!
Fu Tu looks to land a combination but Dall avoids it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dall throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A slow jab from Fu Tu misses its intended target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dall! But no joy.

Fu Tu avoids the head kick by Dall.
Dall fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fu Tu avoids it really well and circles away.
Fu Tu is looking to counter the offense by Dall and move into the clinch.

Dall misses with a low kick.
Fu Tu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Fu Tu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dall thinking.
Fu Tu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Fu Tu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Dall throws a big shot that misses.

Fu Tu lands with an overhand left.
Dall misses with a right hand
and Fu Tu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fu Tu lands a head shot.
Fu Tu looks to score with a jab to the body but Dall is just out of range.
Dall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fu Tu.
Fu Tu lands a jab to Dall's midsection.
Dall gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Fu Tu.
Fu Tu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fu Tu swats away the attempt to clinch by Dall.

Bastyn Dall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fu Tu takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Dall.
Dall looks to throw a body kick
and Fu Tu counters with a stiff right hand.
Fu Tu swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dall.
Dall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fu Tu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dall somewhat.
Shi Fu Tu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bastyn Dall.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fu Tu throws a hook but Dall blocks it.
Fu Tu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dall was well out of range. Poor timing from Fu Tu.
Dall misses with a low kick.
Fu Tu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Fu Tu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fu Tu.

Dall unleashes a big counter combination but Fu Tu bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Dall takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dall throws a body punch but Fu Tu moves out of range.
Dall connects with a body shot that sends Fu Tu's belly button to the back.
Dall checks a low kick from Fu Tu.
Fu Tu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fu Tu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fu Tu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fu Tu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dall momentarily.
Dall throws the left hand but Fu Tu avoids the punch easily.
Shi Fu Tu is winning the standup battle so far.
Dall throws a jab when Fu Tu was well out of range.
Fu Tu feints and then cracks Dall's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dall down.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Dall might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fu Tu has got the better of the exchanges.
Fu Tu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dall.

Dall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Dall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fu Tu to the ground. Dall is now in Fu Tu's guard.

Fu Tu is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Dall blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fu Tu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dall backwards.

Dall misses with a short punch on the inside.
Dall's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Dall drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dall is breathing heavily.
Dall swings wildly with an uppercut but Fu Tu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dall is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fu Tu to keep the fight standing.
Shi Fu Tu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bastyn Dall.
Dall tries to circle away but Fu Tu has him pinned against the cage.

Fu Tu manages to break the clinch.
Fu Tu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dall moves away.

and Fu Tu counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Fu Tu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dall's hands.

Dall is rocked!
Fu Tu drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Dall right on the button. Dall goes down! Fu Tu follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fu Tu gets the win via TKO!
