The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dambullah scores with a nice head shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Cold misses the target.
A big left from Cold misses.
Dambullah lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Steven Cold has been cut.

I was talking to Cold's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Dambullah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dambullah lands a jab to the nose.

Cold fails with a takedown attempt.

Cold changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dambullah looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cold decides to stand back up. Cold steps back and let's Dambullah get back to his feet.
Cold jabs Dambullah right on the nose. Dambullah blinks but takes it well.
Dambullah throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dambullah lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cold's sensitive parts.
Cold thuds a left hand into Dambullah's body.
Cold goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dambullah has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dambullah throws a push kick but Cold slaps the foot to one side.
Dambullah throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dambullah throws the left hand but Cold avoids the punch easily.

A nice left hand lands by Dambullah.
Cold misses with a hook to the ribs.

Dambullah lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cold backwards.
Cold tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Dambullah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cold chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dambullah can pounce on him.

Cold closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dambullah's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cold is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cold steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dambullah. That one must have hurt.

Papa Moosh Dambullah seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Steven Cold's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Cold looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dambullah is fending him off so far but Cold persists. Nope, Dambullah circles away and we're back to standing.
Cold looks to score with a jab to the body but Dambullah is just out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Cold. That's going to slow Dambullah down.
Dambullah keeps Cold at a distance using the push kick.

Cold fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dambullah turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Dambullah drops Cold with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cold looks back up at him and smiles so Dambullah waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Cold is rocked!

and Dambullah counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Cold out cold! What a finish! Dambullah is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
