The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pinto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGil looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McGil closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Pinto thuds a left hand into McGil's body.
Pinto connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Pinto misses the shot to the body.
It seemed like McGil was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Pinto lands with a shot to the body.
McGil bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pinto connects with the punch.
McGil looks winded!

Pinto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGil moves away.
McGil is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Pinto with a body shot.
Pinto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

McGil swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and McGil counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McGil slips under a jab from Pinto.

Pinto looks to throw the jab but McGil is out of range.
A jab from Pinto does it's job there.
Pinto connects with a right hand. McGil shakes it off.
A big right from Pinto misses.
McGil steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pinto.

Pinto lands a big uppercut and McGil crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McGil looks OK. Pinto waves McGil back to his feet!

McGil is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pinto comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pinto misses with a hook. McGil ducked under it nicely.
McGil now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Pinto drops McGil with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McGil looks back up at him and smiles so Pinto waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
McGil is still on wobbly legs! Can Pinto finish him?
Pinto fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked McGil out cold! Brutal finish!
