Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

44 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mordecai Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenway pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sackett is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sackett throws a wild body kick that Kenway sees coming a mile off.
Kenway lands a head shot.
Kenway avoids a punch combination nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Kenway on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sackett swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kenway makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sackett throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kenway takes one to the chin there.
Sackett feints and then cracks Kenway's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kenway down.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kenway takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Good work by Kenway as he checks the leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Sackett.
Kenway misses with a head kick.
Sackett swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kenway takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sackett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sackett needs to keep his hands up - Kenway had a free shot at his head there.
Kenway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sackett moves away.
Sackett looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mordecai Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kenway misses with a straight right.
Sackett swings for the body but Kenway moves out of range.
Kenway takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sackett misses with a two punch combination.
Kenway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sackett was well out of range. Poor timing from Kenway.
Sackett is looking to clinch.
Sackett throws an off balance right hand
and Kenway counters with a head kick that drops Sackett to the mat! Sackett scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Sackett is rocked!
Sackett gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kenway gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sackett is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edward Kenway!
An out of breath Edward Kenway thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
