The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez misses with a head kick.
Gomez checks a low kick from Zy.
Gomez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zy.
Nice straight punches there by Gomez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gomez.
Gomez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gomez is looking to clinch but Zy is avoiding it.
Gomez scores with the left hand. Zy knows he should have avoided that one.
Gomez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gomez misses with a right hand
and Zy counters with a leg kick.
Zy scores with a push kick.

Zy lands a big head kick that sends Gomez tumbling to the mat! Zy takes a step backwards and waves Gomez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Torry Gomez has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zy scores with a nice body kick.
Gomez is still on wobbly legs! Can Zy finish him?
Gomez looks winded!
Gomez walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zy.
Zy cracks a nice hook into Gomez's ribs.
Gomez on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gomez seems to have recovered his senses.
Gomez tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zy scores with the left hand. Gomez knows he should have avoided that one.

and Zy counters with a nice uppercut.
Zy sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Gomez's defenses. It connects perfectly with Gomez's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
