Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dale Holloway (ranked 2543 p4p, 142 weight class) and Sacha Gardet (ranked 2217 p4p, 240 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dale Holloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sacha Gardet!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardet throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Holloway tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gardet is in Holloway's guard.
Holloway looking to control.
Holloway throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gardet wants to pass the guard but Holloway is keeping the position.
Gardet passes Holloway's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Holloway looking for submissions off his back.
Gardet tries to pass the half guard into mount. Holloway knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gardet is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Holloway regains half guard.
Gardet is looking to take a break and control but Holloway is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gardet is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Holloway has managed to free his arm - good work.
Holloway is looking to control Gardet's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Holloway avoid being mounted?
Holloway missing with punches from the bottom.
Gardet is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Holloway!
Holloway keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Gardet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gardet looking to control but Holloway is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Gardet manages to capitalize on a mistake by Holloway to take his back!
Holloway tries to escape the position.
Holloway fending off the submission attempt from Gardet.
Gardet is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Holloway has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Gardet is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Holloway knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Holloway for a finish.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gardet is working for a rear naked choke. Holloway is not defending it well and Gardet has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Holloway refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Holloway's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sacha Gardet!
