Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Clancy (ranked 2167 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryohei Horie (ranked 2155 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordon Clancy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryohei Horie!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horie closes the distance and pushes Clancy back into the cage.
Horie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horie misses with a double jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Horie has closed the distance and engaged Clancy in a clinch.
Clancy letting Horie take a breather here.
Clancy has Horie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Horie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Clancy is trying to drag Horie to the mat but Horie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Clancy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Horie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon Clancy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horie is pressed up against the cage. Clancy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Horie down to the mat. Horie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Clancy has been working on his balance at Jiu-Jitsu Fighter Academy, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Horie.
Horie lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Horie is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Clancy is defending well for now.
Clancy can't get the takedown.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Horie scores with a hook to the body. Clancy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Horie darts in and clinches Clancy up against the cage.
Horie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Clancy at a distance.
Horie lands a big head kick that sends Clancy tumbling to the mat! Horie takes a step backwards and waves Clancy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Gordon Clancy has been cut.
Horie clinches up with Clancy and pushes him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Horie tries to clinch there but Clancy circles away.
Horie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Horie drives through and clinches with Clancy against the cage.

Horie throws a series of punches but Clancy avoids them all with ease.
Horie rushes Clancy and presses him up against the cage.
Horie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horie takes the fight into the clinch.
Clancy is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
The referee is keeping an eye on Horie - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Clancy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Horie after a bit of a struggle.
Horie manages to break the clinch.
Horie closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Horie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horie lands a big head kick that sends Clancy tumbling to the mat! Horie takes a step backwards and waves Clancy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Clancy is rocked!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Clancy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Horie pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Clancy! Horie unloads with more strikes and Clancy sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryohei Horie!
