Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Kalcevski (ranked 4184 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Rock (ranked 4463 p4p, 429 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Kalcevski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwayne Rock!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rock drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rock throws a big elbow that misses.

Rock throws a strike but Kalcevski rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kalcevski wants to get up but he can't break Rock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kalcevski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rock has his hands on Kalcevski's head, controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rock is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rock avoids a punch combination nicely.

Rock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rock showed some decent athleticism there.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rock connects with a nice short shot to Kalcevski's temple.
Kalcevski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kalcevski tries to get out of the position.
Rock throws a strike but Kalcevski avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Rock dives in and scores a takedown into Kalcevski's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A close round but Dwayne Rock will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kalcevski, as that shot connected.

Rock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kalcevski napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Rock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kalcevski.
Rock tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Kalcevski gets caught napping as Rock dives in and scores a takedown. Kalcevski manages to retain guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kalcevski wants to get back to his feet but Rock is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kalcevski enables Rock to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kalcevski manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rock lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Rock throws an elbow that misses. Kalcevski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rock's guard. Nice move by Kalcevski!

Rock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rock wants to stand and escape but Kalcevski is having none of it.

We've been told by Kalcevski's head coaches at The Pit that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Kalcevski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rock manages to avoid it.

Rock takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rock is breathing heavily.
Kalcevski scores with a jab to the head.
Rock shoots in looking for a takedown. Kalcevski tries to sprawl out of it but Rock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kalcevski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kalcevski lands a big uppercut and Rock crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rock looks OK. Kalcevski waves Rock back to his feet!


Rock is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kalcevski cracks Rock with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
