PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Clancy (ranked 2551 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Man Chung (ranked 3615 p4p, 0 weight class). Clancy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clancy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chung's waist but Chung gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clancy off to one side.

Chung is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Clancy is defending well though. Chung let's go of the attempt for now.

We've been hearing good reports from Clancy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
