Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between New Breed One (ranked 1586 p4p, 86 weight class) and Zhang Jun (ranked 3678 p4p, 178 weight class). Zhang Jun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zhang Jun!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jun connects with a body shot that sends One's belly button to the back.
Zhang Jun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
One on the wrong end of a nice jab.
One drives through with a takedown into guard.
One wants to control from the top but Jun keeps moving.
Jun controls One momentarily but One frees himself.
One prevents Jun from getting back to his feet.
One working some strikes from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
One stands and throws Jun's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jun really doesn't want to stay on the ground with One. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
One lands a decent elbow from side control.
You can see the frustration on Jun's face as One controls the position.
One working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
One in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
One has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jun tries to buck One off but One is having none of it.
One wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jun keeps working.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

One is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jun is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
One is trying to get an arm triangle but Jun is defending well.
One content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jun is looking to regain half guard here but One keeps moving and retains side control.
One trying to control the position but Jun is working away.

Jun tries to buck One off but One is having none of it.
One lands some shots froms side control.
Jun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but One wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

One wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jun keeps working.
One cracks Jun with a big elbow.
Jun is trying to improve his position.
Jun manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jun is trying to control but can't.
One is working for an americana but Jun has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst One was thinking about the submission.
Jun is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
One stays in close to Jun's body and controls the position.

One thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Our spies down at at House of 1000 Corpses inform us that Jun has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Jun not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
One chips away with some ground and pound.
One lands a couple of digs.
Jun looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

One is looking to take a break and control but Jun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jun uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Zhang Jun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jun ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
One stuns Jun with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
One uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jun.
One slips a jab and a cross from Jun.
Jun swings away with a body shot that misses
so One counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
One with a nice head shot there.
One working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jun's head.
One is pushing down on Jun's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jun is fighting to maintain full guard but One has managed to sneak the leg through.
This has been an exciting period of action!
One trying to control from half guard but Jun is working away.

Jun wants to improve his position but One is controlling well.
New Breed One overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

One frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
One is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jun is surviving well by controlling One's body position as best he can.

One jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jun manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Jun takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Jun tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - One cranks the arm and Jun screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jun, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). New Breed One!
