Perez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nagasaki to the ground. Perez is now in Nagasaki's guard.
Perez is pushing down on Nagasaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nagasaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Perez has managed to sneak the leg through.

Nagasaki tries to roll over but Perez keeps him under control.

Perez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Perez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Perez has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nagasaki is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Perez yanks on the arm and Nagasaki is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Perez .
