Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Louis Edwards (ranked 3485 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdulrahman Al Abdullah (ranked 2766 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Abdulrahman Al Abdullah was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwards clinches.
Al Abdullah swings wildly with an uppercut but Edwards uses good head movement to avoid it.

Al Abdullah gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Edwards is refusing to be controlled, as Al Abdullah sits in half guard.
Al Abdullah might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Edwards haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Al Abdullah not landing any meaningful shots this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Abdullah is nestled in close to Edwards, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Al Abdullah wants to control but Edwards is keeping him busy.

Al Abdullah has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Edwards's face.

Al Abdullah is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Edwards is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Edwards flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Al Abdullah anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Edwards and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Al Abdullah slips an arm under Edwards chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Al Abdullah has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Al Abdullah is squeezing on Edwards like an anaconda would it's prey. Edwards fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
