Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Capt Sully (ranked 1928 p4p, 213 weight class) and Earl Ravenberg (ranked 1194 p4p, 142 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Ravenberg!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sully falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ravenberg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ravenberg avoids the head kick by Sully.
Ravenberg is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Sully connects with an inside leg kick.
Ravenberg leaves Sully with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sully throws a right and a left that Ravenberg avoids nicely.
Sully tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ravenberg defends well and Sully ends up having to push Ravenberg into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ravenberg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Capt Sully seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ravenberg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sully.
It seemed like Ravenberg was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sully walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ravenberg checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sully is looking to regain half guard here but Ravenberg keeps moving and retains side control.

Sully tries to stand and escape but Ravenberg actually recovers to full guard.
Ravenberg is pulling down on Sully's head to control his posture.

Ravenberg is looking to sweep but instead, Sully has passed into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ravenberg is on top in guard.

and Ravenberg counters with a left to the body.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sully wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ravenberg has him pressed against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Ravenberg.
Still in the clinch, Ravenberg scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ravenberg has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sully uses from the top position.

A little jabbing left from Ravenberg on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Sully tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ravenberg manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Capt Sully will probably get the nod.

Ravenberg stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ravenberg wants it to stay on the feet.
Sully moves into the clinch.

Sully jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ravenberg walks away with a smile on his face. Sully gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A jab-cross combination lands for Ravenberg and sends Sully crashing to the mat! Ravenberg follows him down to the mat - Sully regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Earl Ravenberg really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Capt Sully spoke after the fight, saying 'Retiring this sorry ass.'.
