Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alibek Mamedov (ranked 4729 p4p, 0 weight class) and Varys Semedi (ranked 5059 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamedov thows a leg kick but Semedi checks it

and Semedi counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Semedi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Semedi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Semedi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Semedi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Semedi's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Semedi throws a big right hand that misses.
Semedi's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Semedi is working Mamedov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Semedi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Semedi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Semedi drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Semedi as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Mamedov screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Semedi! Nice submission victory there!
