Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Maya Chigg (ranked 4212 p4p, 116 weight class) and Anton Kruglov (ranked 3291 p4p, 95 weight class). Kruglov has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chigg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chigg throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kruglov's head.
Kruglov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Chigg cracks the inside of Kruglov's front leg.
Chigg keeps the fight on the outside.
Kruglov loads up on a big right hand but Chigg slips the punch.
Chigg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kruglov.
Chigg looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Chigg dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chigg lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kruglov looks winded!
A slapping leg kick lands for Chigg.
Chigg lets loose with a powerful body kick. Kruglov will feel that in the morning.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chigg throws a body shot but no joy.
Kruglov let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Chigg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Chigg feints and then cracks Kruglov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kruglov down.
Chigg connects with a body shot that sends Kruglov's belly button to the back.
Chigg fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kruglov.
Chigg scores with a hook to the body. Kruglov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Chigg slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A chopping leg kick lands by Chigg.
Chigg dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kruglov. That did some damage!
Chigg throws a right and a left that Kruglov avoids nicely.
Chigg moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Chigg scores with a hook to the body. Kruglov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Chigg lunges at Kruglov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kruglov's hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chigg drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Kruglov onto his butt! Kruglov pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Kruglov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Chigg scoring well with a low kick there.
Nice body kick there by Chigg.
Chigg fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Chigg is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
BAM! Chigg delivers a spinning backfist that drops Kruglov like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
