Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mosqaine Liszorr (ranked 3146 p4p, 163 weight class) and Daiyan Valdes (ranked 1139 p4p, 63 weight class). Valdes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: a lo cubano. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liszorr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Valdes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Liszorr misses with an uppercut.
Valdes tests Liszorr's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Liszorr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Valdes goes for a double leg but Liszorr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Liszorr continues to drive forward.
Daiyan Valdes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valdes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Liszorr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Valdes somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valdes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Liszorr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Liszorr tries to lock up and control but Valdes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Liszorr stops Valdes from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Valdes swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Liszorr is now in Valdes's guard. A big mistake from Valdes there, giving up the dominant position!
Liszorr wants to control from the top but Valdes keeps moving.
Valdes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Liszorr drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Valdes dives on top into guard.

Liszorr seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
