The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geo misses with a straight right.
Wright throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wright takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A decent looking cross lands there for Geo.

It looks like Spencer Wright has been cut.
Geo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Geo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wright.
Some wild striking there from Geo.
Wright slips a jab from Geo.
Wright let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A shot to the liver by Geo. Beautiful body shot.

Wright with the counter takedown but Geo avoids it easily.
Geo throws a series of punches but Wright moves out of range.

Geo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wright moves away.
Geo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Geo catches Wright with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Geo tests Wright's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wright staying out of range there.
Wright goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Geo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Geo throws a hook but Wright blocks it.
Geo misses with an uppercut. Wright saw that one coming.
Geo backing away here, and Wright unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Geo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wright looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Geo cracks Wright with a good jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Geo scores with the left hand. Wright knows he should have avoided that one.

That has opened up Spencer Wright's cut even more.

Geo pounces like a tiger and cracks Wright with a vicious hook! Wright is down but not out! Geo follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
