The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smart changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Smart throws a series of punches but Reem moves out of range.
Smart throws an off balance right hand
and Reem counters with a straight right hand.
Good work by Reem as he checks the leg kick.
Smart connects with a single shot there.
Smart bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Smart scores with a hook to the body. Reem takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Smart thows a left - swing and a miss!
Smart dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reem. That did some damage!
Reem misses with a two punch combination.
Smart dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Reem slaps away a takedown attempt from Smart, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Smart misses with a left hand
and Reem counters with a three punch combo that has Smart backing up. Smart nods at Reem to acknowledge the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reem thows a leg kick but Smart checks it

and Smart counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reem won't be happy with that.
Reem is trying to buck Smart off.
Reem is working to avoid the ground and pound but Smart connects with a decent elbow.
Smart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reem. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Reem is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smart in side control lands a decent elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smart cracks Reem with a big right hand but Reem just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Reem is rocked!

It looks like Zakrie Reem has been cut.
Smart landing strikes.
Oh Reem is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smart cracks Reem with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Smart immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Reem is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Smart!
