The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Cup. Those never looked like landing.
Goodman has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym Amsterdam in the buildup to the fight.

That kick from Goodman tenderised Cup's leg. Cup is trying to keep his angry face on.

Cup turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cup manages to end up in side control.

Cup is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Goodman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cup is trying to work for a kimura but Goodman is defending well.
Cup wants to take a breather but Goodman is having none of it.
Cup is just content to waste time from the top position. Goodman takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Cup looking to sit in guard and control but Goodman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Cup told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Cup is looking for a triangle but Goodman pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Saul Goodman will probably get the nod.

Goodman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A jab lands there for Cup.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Cup knocks Goodman out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
