The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conservative with a jab.

It looks like Patrick Thompson has been cut.
Patrick Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson cracks Conservative with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Conservative throws a leg kick but Thompson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Thompson appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
