Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, HL Mencken!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mencken steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bee. That one must have hurt.
Mencken moves out of range of the leg kick from Bee.
Mencken looks to land a combination but Bee avoids it well.
As Mencken tries to get set, Bee tries to push him back and clinch up but Mencken manages to avoid the attempt.
Bee blocks the body kick.
Mencken misses with a body kick.
Mencken on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nice defenses there by Mencken.
Mencken is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Mencken throws the left hand but Bee avoids the punch easily.
Bee blocks a jab.
Mencken misses with a straight left.
Bee on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Mencken thuds his right hand into Bee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Bee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bee lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mencken backwards.

Mencken escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mencken takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Bee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bee avoids the body shot from Mencken.
Bee tries to counter by clinching up but Mencken breaks away and moves out of range.
Mencken ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bee moves away.
Bee lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bee.

It looks like HL Mencken has been cut.
Bee throws a chopping leg kick but Mencken manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mencken swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mencken throws a looping overhand right but Bee ducks down to avoid it.

Bee takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bee tries to clinch but Mencken moves out of range.

Bee catches Mencken with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mencken throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bee rushes Mencken and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bee will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mencken up against the cage.
Bee lands an elbow inside.

Mencken breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bee blocks the body kick.
Mencken tries to land a front kick but Bee steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
It appears Bee was looking to counter with a kick there.
Bee throws a shot to the body.
Mencken pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bee has Mencken up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Bee throws an elbow but misses.
Bee creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mencken's defenses.

Bee swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Mencken escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bee lands a front kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mencken. Bee does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bee thuds his shin into the meat of Mencken's side.

Bee closes the distance and clinches.
A short body shot lands from Bee as the two fighters clinch.

Mencken is trying to force a seperation but Bee has the dominant position.
Mencken tries to circle away but Bee has him pinned against the cage.

Bee tries to land knees in the clinch but Mencken avoids the damage to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mencken has had enough of the clinch but Bee keeps him there for the moment.

Bee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mencken, pushing him back against the cage.

Mencken has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bee.
Mencken pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bee was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bee lands a body shot.
Inspektor Bee is winning the standup battle so far.

Bee instigates a clinch.
Bee tries to work over Mencken's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Bee landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Bee pushes Mencken back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bee lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Mencken avoids a wild elbow strike from Bee.
Bee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mencken can do to turn this around?

It looked like Bee was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mencken.

Bee connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mencken's hands.

That has opened up HL Mencken's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bee stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Mencken is still on wobbly legs! Can Bee finish him?
Mencken gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Bee gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mencken is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Inspektor Bee!
An out of breath Inspektor Bee thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
