Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crown Halo (ranked 571 p4p, 77 weight class) and Samuel Kravac (ranked 1154 p4p, 163 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crown Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Kravac!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kravac shoots in and bounces Halo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kravac is looking to work some ground and pound but Halo has wrist control.
Halo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kravac has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kravac thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kravac is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Halo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kravac creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Halo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Halo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kravac on the ground.

My spies in JAG Battle Gym inform me that Kravac has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

I was talking to Halo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Halo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kravac throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Halo on the side of the head.

Kravac is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Halo is trying to maintain the position but Kravac is very close to passing his half guard.
Kravac working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Samuel Kravac is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Halo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kravac is aware though and is defending well.
Halo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I've got Kravac winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
