The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vendarra takes one to the side of the head.
McCockiner connects with an inside leg kick.
McCockiner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McCockiner's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vendarra under the eye.
Vendarra misses with a body punch
enabling McCockiner to counter with a crisp jab.
McCockiner swings widly with a right hand
and Vendarra counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McCockiner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vendarra throws the left hand but McCockiner avoids the punch easily.
