And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Atunes!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Atunes to the mat! Atunes manages to get full guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Atunes misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Atunes pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jones goes for a takedown attempt but Atunes pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Atunes drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Atunes's coach down at Crassus was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Atunes's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones tries to get into range but Atunes steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Jones! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Atunes scores the big KO victory!
