Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michel Pereira (ranked 489 p4p, 63 weight class) and Kyle Lewis (ranked 1826 p4p, 234 weight class). Pereira's entrance music is J.Balvin, Willy William - Mi Gente. A fine choice. Lewis has chosen DMX - Slippin as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michel Pereira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've been told by Pereira's head coaches at Five Round Fight Club NY (50 max) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pereira on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Pereira drives through and clinches with Lewis against the cage.
Lewis is trying to drag Pereira to the mat but Pereira just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Pereira connects with a nasty looking knee right to Lewis's face.
Lewis on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Pereira tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Pereira with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Pereira using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lewis has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Pereira stops a takedown attempt from Lewis.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lewis managing to block the knees to the body from Pereira.

Lewis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pereira pulls Lewis in close to prevent any damage.
Lewis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Pereira is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pereira is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lewis is controlling him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nice uppercut lands for Lewis. That snapped Pereira's head back.
Lewis throws a nice looking combination but Pereira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lewis.
Michel Pereira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Lewis.
Pereira scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Pereira connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pereira bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lewis's head backwards.

Lewis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pereira counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Michel Pereira spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
