The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mckean swivels and escapes.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
De Souza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mckean circles away.
De Souza walks into a jab.
Mckean works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Mckean gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
De Souza wants to pass the guard but Mckean is keeping the position.
De Souza sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mckean's guard.
Mckean wants to improve his position but De Souza is controlling well.
De Souza seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mckean does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
De Souza passes the guard and advances to mount!
Mckean is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

De Souza throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mckean because De Souza loaded up on that one.

Mckean is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. De Souza locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mckean is forced to tap!
