PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kooz Wahrr (ranked 24206 p4p, 219 weight class) and Bryer McGuire (ranked 1959 p4p, 83 weight class). Wahrr comes to the cage accompanied by 46 and Two (Tool). McGuire is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wahrr with a nice calf kick.
Wahrr throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

McGuire closes the distance and clinches.
Wahrr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McGuire just stands there and leans against the cage.
Wahrr has a couple of punches blocked by McGuire.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Wahrr.

McGuire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McGuire tries a low kick but Wahrr avoids it.
Wahrr pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McGuire checks a low kick from Wahrr.

McGuire has Wahrr up against the cage in a clinch.
McGuire connects with a nasty looking knee right to Wahrr's face.

It looks like Kooz Wahrr has been cut.
Wahrr tries to pull guard but McGuire won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Wahrr is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McGuire to keep the fight standing.

Wahrr tries to land knees in the clinch but McGuire avoids the damage to the body.

Wahrr jumps guard but McGuire stands there with Wahrr around his waist. Wahrr gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McGuire blocks a punch to the side of the head.
McGuire landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

McGuire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

McGuire rushes Wahrr and presses him up against the cage.
Wahrr is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. McGuire is defending well for now.
Wahrr takes a knee right on the jaw!

Kooz Wahrr's cut is getting worse.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGuire cracks Wahrr with a nice body shot.

McGuire lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
McGuire lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wahrr backwards.

Kooz Wahrr's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
McGuire throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wahrrs head.
McGuire has Wahrr pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Wahrr is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from McGuire - that's hurt Wahrr badly! Oh, another knee lands and Wahrr is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Wahrr doesn't seem to be complaining.

A less than humble Bryer McGuire misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
