Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boxing Guy (ranked 1587 p4p, 1237 weight class) and Dyami Yazzie (ranked 200 p4p, 181 weight class). Yazzie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by A Tribe Called Red - Suplex. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Guy looks to throw the jab but Yazzie is out of range.
Yazzie buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Yazzie misses with a straight left.
Yazzie has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Guy is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Guy throws a looping overhand right but Yazzie ducks down to avoid it.

Yazzie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guy, pushing him back against the cage.
Guy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Yazzie misses with a hook from the clinch.
Guy tries to throw a body punch but Yazzie avoids it by throwing Guy back against the cage.
Guy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Come on Yazzie - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Yazzie lands a right hand that snaps the head of Guy backwards.

Yazzie is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Guy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Yazzie tries to pull guard but Guy forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Yazzie misses with a punch on the inside.
Yazzie is working for takedown but Guy is calmly controlling the position for now.
Boxing Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dyami Yazzie.

Guy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Yazzie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Guy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Yazzie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guy manages to get himself to full guard.

Guy is in trouble now - Yazzie has advanced to mount!
Guy is looking to improve his position but Yazzie isn't that keen on the idea.
