PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akhmed Dudayev (ranked 949 p4p, 116 weight class) and Wayne Hart (ranked 3895 p4p, 388 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne Hart!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hart on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hart looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hart tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dudayev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hart somewhat.
Akhmed Dudayev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Hart.
Hart shoots for a takedown but Dudayev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dudayev gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dudayev gets underhooks to prevent Hart's takedown attempt.

Dudayev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dudayev cracks a nice hook into Hart's ribs.
Dudayev works Hart's body with a nice hook.
Hart on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Dudayev lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Wayne Hart has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dudayev throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Dudayev jabs Hart to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hart misses with a takedown attempt - Dudayev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dudayev cracks a nice hook into Hart's ribs.

Dudayev has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dudayev creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've been told by Dudayev's head coaches at Combat MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dudayev fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hart looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hart looks winded!
Hart drops his hands momentarily and Dudayev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A lazy left from Dudayev finds it's target.
Dudayev comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hart takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Hart is rocked!
Dudayev drops Hart with a big left hand! Hart is injured, injured bad! Dudayev jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Akhmed Dudayev tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
