The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckean tries for a takedown but Ortiz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ortiz steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mckean.
Mckean definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Ortiz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mckean is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mckean tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ortiz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Mckean won't let Ortiz get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Mckean has hold of Ortiz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ortiz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mckean quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Mckean but it's paid off an Ortiz is forced to tap! Nice work by Mckean.
